The Residence Life Vision & Mission
Residence Life assists students in their transition to on-campus living. Residence Life values learning; i.e.; growth and the advancement of knowledge, skills and understanding in all dimensions. Some of the primary responsibilities include: programming, student activities, roommate disputes, counseling, emergency response, general student concerns, and student discipline.
The residence halls at Penn State Hazleton are supervised by the Associate Director of Student Affairs and the Residence Life Coordinators along with 12 undergraduate student Resident Assistants (RAs). The Associate Director of Student Affairs along with the professional and student staff are responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures necessary for the maximum educational and social impact of residential living.

Housing and Food Services
Housing and Food Services is in charge of:
- Billing for room and board
- Room assignments and waiting lists
- Residence hall maintenance
- Meal plans
- and all other areas regarding the physical aspects, upkeep, and financial support of the residence and dining halls
