As Hurricane Irene approaches the East Coast of the U.S., the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency is urging Pennsylvanians to prepare for inclement weather conditions. According to PEMA officials, "Although the storm is expected to primarily impact southeastern Pennsylvania, residents across the state should remain alert and be prepared."
