STAFF VACANCIES
The University's policy on employment is to accept applications only for specific staff vacancies as they occur. All staff vacancies are advertised at a minimum in the local newspaper and over the worldwide web at the Penn State Office of Human Resources website. FACULTY VACANCIES
Full-time faculty openings at Penn State Hazleton are posted on Penn State's Employment Opportunities web site. Select the Faculty link at the top of the page to go to the Faculty Vacancy Announcements. Pull down the Choose Location menu, select Penn State Hazleton , and click the Change button. Faculty openings are also advertised in the Chronicle of Higher Education and appropriate disciplinary journals.
When they become available, part-time faculty positions at Penn State Hazleton are advertised in local and regional newspapers and posted at the campus, in addition to the Penn State’s Employment Opportunities web site.
If you are interested in adjunct faculty opportunities at Penn State Hazleton, and you have a minimum of a master's degree, please mail, e-mail, or fax the following items to the address below.
Application should contain:
- Cover letter stating area in which you can teach
- Vita/Resume: Please list education, teaching experience, and when relevant other professional experience three Letters of Recommendation and contact information for references (email and phone number): Preferred are letters that attest to teaching effectiveness.
- Sample of Student Evaluations
- Transcripts: A legible photocopy is acceptable.
