AutoCAD Certificate Program

60 hours - 6.0 CEU's

Introduction to AutoCAD (24 hours)

In this hands-on computer aided drafting course, participants will be provided with an introduction to AutoCAD, which includes basic drawing and editing commands, how to coordinate entry methods, object snap techniques, display manipulation, automatic editing and text entry.  In-class problem assignment will be given.

Intermediate AutoCAD (18 hours)

In this continuation of Introductory AutoCAD, participants will learn additional program features, including text manipulation, prototype drawings, scaling, layers, colors and line types, hatching and sketching, dimensioning and tolerancing, groups, blocks and plotting.  In-class problem assignments will be given.

Advanced AutoCAD (18 hours)

This course has been developed to familiarize the participants with the major concepts of parametric-based Solid Modeling.  The program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience using AutoCAD software.
