There are many scholarship opportunities available through Army ROTC. There are two, three and four year scholarships available. Students in high school may want to learn about and apply for the Army ROTC four-year scholarship. The scholarship can cover up to full tuition, as well as paying mandatory fees, an allowance for books, and a monthly non-taxable stipend.
Army ROTC has many scholarship programs available for Penn State students. You can be in any major. We recommend you talk to us as soon as possible in order to avoid missing a deadline. We offer two- and three-year scholarships paying full tuition and fees. Scholarship awards are based on merit, not need. You must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and be medically qualified. These scholarships also pay $450 per semester book allowance and up to a $500 monthly stipend in addition to tuition. Most qualified Penn State Army cadets win scholarships.
There is also the option of applying for a Guaranteed Reserve Forces Scholarship. With this type of scholarship, you are guaranteed that you can serve your obligation in the reserves rather than on active duty.
